Abstract
Green credit in Vietnam was first introduced through Directive No. 03/CT-NHNN on March 24, 2015. Nearly a decade later, its implementation by credit institutions remains limited, with several challenges hindering significant progress. This study examines the current state of green credit activities in Vietnam and identifies the practical difficulties credit institutions face in implementing green credit programs. Based on this analysis, the study offers recommendations to promote the growth and effectiveness of green credit initiatives in the future.
