The current compliance of Vietnamese garment companies with international requirements: A case study of Garment 10 Joint Stock Company (Garco 10)

Abstract
As the international requirements are stricter, fully complying with the regulations of the importing countries has become an extremely essential issue for garment companies. This study analyzes the current compliance of Garment 10 Joint Stock Company (Garco 10) with international requirements, including social requirements, working conditions requirements, environment requirements, and product quality requirements. In this study, semi-structured, in-depth interviews are conducted with middle managers and employees of Garco 10 to ensure the study’s objectivity. The study’s findings are expected to provide implications for exporting garment companies to orient themselves towards building effective strategies and plans in the international market.
