Solutions for improving the supply chain through logistics services: a case of the central key economic region

The Central Key Economic Region, especially Da Nang City, has maintained a high growth rate for a long time, but its economic scale is still small compared to the overall Vietnamese economy. One of the main reasons is the low regional connectivity and the inefficient operation of the entire regional supply chain. This study proposes a number of solutions to effectively improve the supply chain through logistics services, such as: 1) the need for investing in transportation infrastructure, 2) the need for enhancing the efficiency of logistics services, 3) the need for developing logistics centers, 4) the need for strengthening cooperation and coordination between businesses, government agencies, and industry associations, 5) the need for investing in logistics human resource development.
