The current management of recurrent expenditures of the state budget at the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Dien Bien province and solutions to improve this management

Recently, the Government of Vietnam has issued many solutions to improve state budget management and manage state budget expenditures closely, economically, and effectively to achieve the goals of creating financial resources for salary reform, COVID-19 prevention, and socio-economic recovery and development programs. However, in the context of increasing budget expenditure needs and frequent budget overspending, it is an urgent task for the government to improve its recurrent expenditures on the state budget. This study analyzes the current management of recurrent expenditures of the state budget at the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Dien Bien province. Based on the study’s findings, some solutions are proposed to help the department use its state budget more effectively and economically.
