Developing Green Credit for Circular Tourism in Vietnam: Current Situation and Solutions

Abstract
Vietnam’s tourism sector is entering a new phase of growth, with increasingly high requirements for emission reduction, efficient resource use, and greater destination sustainability. In this context, developing green credit for circular tourism has become increasingly important
for mobilizing and directing financial resources toward the transformation of the tourism growth model. This study analyzes the current situation of green credit development associated with circular tourism in Vietnam, identifying the achievements as well as the limitations and shortcomings; on that basis, it proposes a number of solutions to strengthen the linkage between green finance and the development of circular tourism in Vietnam in the in the years ahead.
