Mobilizing capital resources for the new-style rural building program in Cao Bang province

The new-style rural building program plays a key role in Vietnam’s socio-economic development. This program needs a large capital source, including the state budget and other sources from local communities. This study comprehensively assesses the results of mobilizing financial resources and identifies the factors influencing the mobilization of financial resources for the new-style rural building program in Cao Bang province. In the period of 2020–2022, Cao Bang province successfully mobilized a total of 17,831,074.6 million Vietnamese dong for the new-style rural building program. This fund was used to carry out the new-style rural building program, and it achieved certain outcomes. For example, 17 out of 139 communes in Cao Bang province have met the new-style rural standards. This study proposes four solutions for Cao Bang province to better mobilize financial resources for the new-style rural building program in the upcoming period.
