The application of blockchain in the banking sector

Abstract
In Vietnam, blockchain has been gradually becoming a technological pillar with many useful applications, especially applications for the banking sector such as letters of credit, contracts of guarantee, payments, etc. However, the development of blockchain technology in Vietnam is facing many challenges due to the lack of blockchain experts, limited understanding of people about blockchain, unsecured infrastructure, and specific legal corridor for blockchain. This paper analyses the application of blockchain in the banking sector.
