Potential for digital economy development and digital transformation in Vietnam

Digital transformation is an indispensable factor that help businesses gradually adapt to the new normal after the COVID-19 pandemic. The digital economy is the worldwide network of economic activities, commercial transactions and professional interactions that are enabled by information technology and data. With a population of nearly 100 million people, Vietnam is considered one of ASEAN countries with good digital economic development. This paper presents the potential for digital economy development and digital transformation in Vietnam, thereby proposing solutions to improve the efficiency of digital economy and digital transformation in Vietnam in the new context.
