Abstract
This study examines the impact of digital transformation on the operational efficiency of Vietnamese commercial banks through five dimensions: digital technology infrastructure, digital technology capability, operational process digitalization, digital banking services, and digital data management and utilization. Using a quantitative approach, data were analyzed through reliability testing, exploratory factor analysis, Pearson correlation, and multiple regression. All five factors have positive and statistically significant effects on operational efficiency. Digital technology capability has the strongest influence (β = 0.286), followed by operational process digitalization, digital data management and utilization, digital technology infrastructure, and digital banking services. The model explains 62.1% of the variation in operational efficiency. The findings provide managerial implications for strengthening digital capabilities, accelerating process digitalization, improving data utilization, and enhancing bank performance.
