Abstract
This study evaluates the innovative entrepreneurship capabilities of young enterprises in Vietnam from a capability-based perspective grounded in Dynamic Capabilities Theory. Data from 350 young enterprises were analyzed using descriptive statistics on a five-point Likert scale. Five capability dimensions were examined: opportunity recognition, innovation, digital and technological capability, resource mobilization, and ecosystem networking. The findings indicate relatively positive and balanced capability profiles, with mean scores ranging from 3.6897 to 3.7423. Digital and technological capability received the highest rating, followed by ecosystem networking and innovation, while opportunity recognition and resource mobilization represented relative capability gaps. The study advances a capability-profile perspective on innovative entrepreneurship and provides empirical evidence and practical implications for strengthening the capabilities of young enterprises in Vietnam.
