Developing high-quality human capital in the era of digital transformation

Digital transformation has emerged as an inevitable trajectory as the global economy transitions into the digital era. In this process, high-quality human resources constitute a critical determinant of both the effectiveness and pace of transformation at organizational and national levels. However, Vietnam continues to face significant challenges, including a shortage of digitally skilled labor, a persistent mismatch between education and labor market demands, and limited capacity to adapt to rapidly evolving technologies. This study examines the current state of human resources in the context of digital transformation, providing a comprehensive assessment of structural constraints and capability gaps. The analysis offers empirical insights into the workforce dynamics shaping Vietnam’s digital transition and the broader implications for sustainable economic development.
