Enhancing the international integration capacity of enterprises in Dak Lak Province through institutional impacts

This study examines the impact of institutional factors on the international economic integration capacity of enterprises in Dak Lak province following the consolidation of provincial administrative units and the transition to a two-tier local government model. Using qualitative analysis supplemented by quantitative illustrations, the study identifies transitional bottlenecks in land-use planning and digital infrastructure while highlighting institutional reforms that help enterprises optimize supply chains from inland production areas to seaports. The findings indicate that administrative streamlining, digitalized public services, integrated logistics planning, and improved policy implementation can reduce transaction costs and enhance enterprises’ access to international markets. The study concludes that institutional improvement and more effective local policy enforcement are essential for enabling enterprises, particularly small and medium-sized firms, to capitalize on new-generation free trade agreements.
