The mediating role of supply chain collaboration in the relationship between smart logistics and supply chain resilience in Vietnamese enterprises

Abstract

This study examines the mediating role of supply chain collaboration in the relationship between smart logistics and supply chain resilience. Data were collected from 161 managers representing Vietnamese enterprises and analyzed using a quantitative approach. The results show that smart logistics has a direct and positive effect on supply chain resilience. External supply chain collaboration partially mediates this relationship, whereas internal collaboration does not demonstrate a statistically significant mediating effect. These findings clarify how digital logistics capabilities and collaboration with external partners strengthen enterprises’ ability to respond to disruptions and business-environment changes. The study provides practical implications for Vietnamese enterprises seeking to develop sustainable supply chain strategies, improve information sharing and resource coordination, and enhance resilience through smart logistics and external collaboration.
