Current status and solutions for tourism economy development in Cao Bang Province

This study analyzes the current state of Cao Bang Province’s tourism economy during 2021 - 2025 using document synthesis, data analysis, and a sociological survey. The findings indicate that tourism has increasingly become an important economic sector, making a significant contribution to the province’s socioeconomic development. Nevertheless, tourism infrastructure, product diversification, human resource quality, regional linkages, and the capacity to attract international visitors remain limited and have not fully reflected the province’s potential. The study proposes improving policies and institutional mechanisms, attracting investment, developing distinctive tourism products, upgrading infrastructure, strengthening workforce capabilities, expanding tourism promotion, and enhancing regional cooperation. These solutions are intended to support the sustainable development of Cao Bang’s tourism economy.
