Enhancing innovation and efficiency in lending operations at Saigon Thuong Tin Commercial Joint Stock Bank - An Giang Branch

This study systematizes credit activities within Vietnam’s commercial banking system and examines the efficiency of bank lending, with a specific focus on lending operations at Sacombank – An Giang Branch during the period 2022–2024. Drawing on financial indicators and operational data, the analysis assesses the scale, structure, and performance of lending activities, highlighting key trends and changes over the study period. The findings provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of credit operations at Sacombank - An Giang Branch and situate these results within the broader context of Vietnam’s banking sector. Overall, the study contributes empirical evidence on lending efficiency at the branch level and offers insights into the role of commercial bank credit in supporting local and national socio-economic development.
