Published: August 3, 2026
Abstract
In the process of restructuring the tourism industry toward higher value creation, many countries have increasingly prioritized the development of tourism products tailored to high-income travelers. International experience demonstrates that targeting this market segment not only raises average tourist expenditure but also enhances destination branding and supports more sustainable tourism development. This study synthesizes and analyzes selected international cases of tourism product development for high-income customers, examining strategic approaches, product differentiation, and value-creation mechanisms. Through this comparative analysis, the study provides a structured understanding of how high-end tourism products contribute to industry upgrading and long-term competitiveness in the global tourism market.
