Factors affecting the intention to adopt digital banking services at Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) in Dong Nai

Abstract

This study aims to identify and measure the factors influencing the intention to adopt digital banking services among individual customers at Orient Commercial Joint Stock Bank (OCB) - Dong Nai Branch. Based on an extended Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), data from 258 valid survey samples were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 software. The results indicate that five factors - Perceived Ease of Use, Personal Innovativeness, Perceived Usefulness, Social Influence (positive impacts), and Perceived Security Risk (negative impact) are all statistically significant. Among these, Perceived Ease of Use and Security Risk are the two factors with the most significant weight of influence. Based on these findings, the author proposes several managerial implications to enhance the adoption rate of digital banking services within Dong Nai province.
