Some Issues about the Current Economic Growth of Ho Chi Minh City

Abstract
Ho Chi Minh City, the economic engine of Vietnam’s Southern key economic region, has always been at the forefront of economic growth, especially economic restructuring. However, the city’s economic development has been negatively affected by the COVID-19 and international complicated economic-political fluctuations. This paper analyzes Ho Chi Minh City’s current economic growth over the past time, assesses the city’s advantages and disadvantages, and proposes some solutions to facilitate the city’s economic growth in the coming time.
