This study explores the factors affecting the aquaculture production risk in Khanh Hoa province, Vietnam. Descriptive statistics and logit methods are used in the study. The study’s measurement results show that the assessment score of environmental factors for the aquaculture production in Khanh Hoa province is generally above average, but there are differences among factors. The study finds out that there are 5 factors affecting the aquaculture production risk in Khanh Hoa province including: aquaculture production experience of the household head, farming area, productivity, type of intensive aquaculture production, and aquaculture production technical training. The study’s results also show that the factor of education level of the household head does not affect the aquaculture production risk. Based on the study’s findings, some policy implications are made to reduce the aquaculture production risk, contributing to the development of Khanh Hoa province’s aquaculture industry.
