Solutions to improve the credit quality of loans for job creation supporting activities at Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - District 8 Branch in Ho Chi minh City

Abstract
Over the years, thanks to the attention from the Government, Party committees, local authorities, agencies and departments and the bank’s efforts itself, Vietnam Bank for Social Policies - District 8 Branch in Ho Chi minh City has significantly contributed to the local socio-economic development. The branch has actively participated into the National target program on hunger eradication and poverty reduction. This study analyzes the credit quality of Vietnam Bank for Social Policies – District 8 Branch in the period from 2018 to 2021. The study finds out that the branch had implemented its credit programs timely and in accordance with policies.
