Current development of digital banking services in Vietnam and lessons learnt from international experiences

As the banking digital transformation has taken placed strongly around the world, especially at developed countries, the Government of Vietnam considers the digital transformation in the country’s financial - banking sector as one of top priorities. The digital banking development has become the main goal of many Vietnamese commercial banks. To response to the COVID-19 pandemic, banks are increasingly putting efforts into the development of their digital banking services. Customers also prefer digital banking services as they are more aware of benefits brought by digital banking services.
