Some solutions for the development of the night-time economy in Vietnam

Vietnam has many favourable conditions for the development of the night-time economy. However, there are no official researches on the size and the impacts of the night-time economy on the economic development of regions in Vietnam. In Vietnam, tourism activities mainly take place from 7 am to 5 pm. Meanwhile, night-time tourism activities taking place frrom 6 pm to 6 am of the next day have not been developed despite the fact that these activities bring great profits for businesses. This study analyzes Vietnam’s socio-economic development breakthroughs associated with the night-time economy. The study also proposed some solutions to promote the development of the night-time economy in Vietnam in the national new development phase.
