The import-export and development prospects of Vietnam's textile and garment industry after the COVID-19 pandemic

Abstract
This paper analyzes how the fluctuation in the trade balance of Vietnam's textile and garment industry in the period 2015 - 2021, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic period, affect the trade of the global textile industry in general and the trade of Vietnam's textile industry in particular. This paper also discusses the structure of the import-export market of Vietnam's textile and garment industry and the market share of Vietnamese textile products in major markets including the U.S, Japan, Korea and the E.U. In addition, this paper analyzes some economic factors that facilitate the development of Vietnam's textile and garment industry.
