Analyzing factors affecting the economic growth of Vietnamese provinces by using spatial econometrics

Abstract
Researches on economic growth have been conducted by economist with various levels of research and methodologies. However, many researches using non-spatial econometrics ignore the spatial linkage among provinces, leading to biased and inconsistent evaluation results. By using spatial econometrics, this research overcomes shortcomings of researches using nonspatial econometrics. The research’s results indicate the determinants of provincial economic growth in Vietnam and their spatial connections in the period from 2014 to 2020.
