Participating into the global supply chain: identifying challenges and solutions for Vietnam

The COVID-19 pandemic has seriously affected the global economy, and has disrupted the global supply chain. In Vietnam, the pandemic affects the foreign sources of input materials and components, especially sources from Asian countries. Recovering supply chains and developing new value chains during and after the COVID-19 pandemic are an urgent task for Vietnam. This paper points out shifting trends of global supply chains, advantages and challenges for Vietnam in participating into global supply chains. This paper also proposes some solutions to facilitate Vietnam's participation into global supply chains.
