The current situation of state-owned enterprises in the world and challenges for Vietnamese state-owned enterprises

Abstract
The fact shows that state-owned enterprises are a common feature around the world. State-owned enterprises operate in various economic sectors and play an important role in the economy and development of countries as well as the whole global economy. This paper is expected to enhance the performance of state-owned enterprises in Vietnam in order to improve the contribution of them to the country’s development.
