Viewpoints, contents and indicators measuring the private sector development in Vietnam

Abstract
Developing the private economy is one of the issues of concern to the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Government of Vietnam, and researchers. Up to now, there have been many researches on the objective necessity, role and position of the private sector, and solutions for the development of the private sector in the country’s economic development. This paper points out issues relating to the viewpoints, contents and indicators measuring the private sector development in Vietnam in the country’s socio-economic development process.
