Circular economy - The key for sustainable development in the post-COVID-19 era

Abstract
The COVID-19 pandemic has negatively impacted the supply chain, waste management, public health and economic sectors. It makes the need for implementing a new economic development model more urgent. This paper introduces the concept, principles and benefits of the circular economy model which is viewed as an ideal solution for the current context. This paper analyzes the opportunities and challenges for the development of circular economy in Vietnam in the post-COVID-19 era. The paper also proposes solutions to promote the circular economy in Vietnam to help the country achieves sustainable development goals.
