Vietnam’s green growth policy: Current situation and solutions

Green growth is an important content of sustainable development. Therefore, Vietnam has issued many legal documents relating to green growth to help Vietnam’s economy develop effectively and sustainably, and contribute to climate change mitigation and prevention. Besides the achieved results, Vietnam's green growth policy still has shortcomings and inadequacies that cause difficulties and obstacles in the implementation of these policies. This paper clarifies the concept of green growth and analyzes the current green growth policy of Vietnam. Based on the paper’s findings, some solutions are proposed to improve the effectiveness of Vietnam’s green growth policy in the coming time.
