Developing agricultural economy - A slow but sustainable economic development approach

Abstract

In the global economic development, most countries choose to develop industries and services as these sectors greatly contribute to the national GDP growth. It is clear that the development of industries and services can help a country quickly escape poverty but it is more vulnerable to crises. In contrast with this approach, the development of food production and services will stabilize the national economy in crises. However, this approach brings a lower GDP growth. This paper presents the green agricultural development with high added value agricultural products for exports. This development approach is expected to help the economy grow more sustainably.
