Digital transformation opportunities for viet nam during and after the COVID-19 pandemic

The COVID-19 pandemic has severely impacted the entire economic, political and social aspects of Vietnam. However, the pandemic is also viewed as an opportunity for Vietnam to accelerate the countrys digital transformation process in order to achieve the dual goals of containing the pandemic while ensuring economic activity in the new normal. This paper clarifies the benefits brought by the digital transformation process to Vietnam’s economy. This paper also presents the digital transformation process of Ho Chi Minh City authorities during and after the COVID-19 pandemic to better clarify the opportunities that the digital transformation has brought.
