Advances in science and technology support the economic growth

In recent decades, Vietnam has witnessed the rapid advances in science and technology, especially in the fields of information technology, biotechnology, new material technology, etc. These fields play an important role in improving labor productivity and increasing production efficiency. Many new core technologies including artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud computing, and Internet of Things are creating new sectors like digital economy, e-society and e-Government. They opens up great opportunities for Vietnam to make breakthroughs, quickly catching up with developed countries. This paper analyzes the relationship between digital technology and economic growth, and the potential for digital technology development in Vietnam.
