Textile industry innovates economic strategy towards environmental protection

Abstract

Amid the rising trend of green consumption, the Vietnamese textile and garment industry faces increasing pressure to innovate products in an environmentally sustainable direction. Modern consumers are not only concerned with quality and price but also pay attention to the origin of raw materials, production processes, and overall product sustainability. This study examines the green consumer market, evaluates the current state of product innovation in the Vietnamese textile and garment sector, and identifies key driving factors and barriers to eco-friendly innovation. Based on these insights, the study proposes a comprehensive innovation strategy emphasizing advanced technologies, ecological materials, green design, and circular economy principles to enhance sustainability and competitiveness in the industry.
