Solutions to strengthen the operational and financial performance of the Vietnam Bank for Social Policies

The Vietnam Bank for Social Policies (VBSP) plays a critical role in advancing social security, poverty alleviation, and sustainable development in Vietnam. However, in the context of evolving socio-economic conditions and increasing demands from international integration, VBSP faces significant challenges in enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening its financial capacity. This study analyzes the current operational performance and financial structure of VBSP, identifying key limitations and risks. Based on these insights, the study proposes a set of integrated solutions aimed at improving institutional capacity, capital mobilization, and risk management, thereby supporting the bank’s long-term sustainability and effectiveness in fulfilling its social mission.
