Facilitating green businesses: An inevitable trend in national economic policy

Abstract
Facilitating the expansion of green enterprises has emerged as an indispensable realm in contemporary economic policy, aiming to foster sustainable development. This study examines the critical role of green enterprises in advancing economic transformation and evaluates Vietnam’s current policy framework in comparison with international best practices. The analysis highlights key challenges, including financing constraints, high transition costs, and regulatory gaps that hinder the growth of green businesses. Grounded in this analysis, the study advocates for comprehensive policy enhancements, the expansion of green finance instruments, and strategic initiatives to stimulate sustainable consumption, ultimately reinforcing Vietnam’s economic resilience amid global disruptions
