Digital economy in the Northern mountainous provinces: Opportunities, challenges, and development solutions

The digital economy is opening up numerous development opportunities for the Northern mountainous provinces of Vietnam, helping to bridge regional development gaps and drive economic growth. This study analyzes the situation and potential of the digital economy, and also highlights major challenges in developing the digital economy in this area, such as inadequate technology infrastructure, limited digital capabilities among the population, and ineffective policy support. Based on these insights, the study proposes several solutions for sustainable digital economic development in the region, including investment in digital infrastructure, enhancing technological capacity for businesses and individuals, and formulating appropriate support policies.
