Risk identification and assessment for the development of logistics 4.0 services in Can Tho

Abstract
Risk management plays a crucial role in the development of logistics 4.0. Effectively mitigating potential risks not only allows businesses to conserve resources and time but also reduces costs, minimizes unnecessary losses, and delivers a range of benefits, including enhanced service quality, stronger competitiveness, and improved customer satisfaction. In this study, the DEMATEL (Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory) model was used to identify and evaluate the impact of various risks. Drawing on the expertise of 31 specialists, the study assessed the significance and influence of 21 key risks. The findings revealed that risks such as regulatory constraints on e-logistics, digital process limitations, and data ownership challenges exert a substantial influence on other risks, with the most critical consequence being the shortage of skilled human resources.
