An overview of research on policies to support the development of cooperatives

Abstract
This study presented an overview and evaluated research on policies to support the development of cooperatives. The study found the previous research directions mostly focused on exploring the role of cooperatives, cooperative models, development results of cooperatives, and development solutions for cooperatives from the perspectives of the government, communities, and people. In addition, some research did not explore the government’s approach to creating an environment for the establishment, operation, and sustainable development of cooperatives. It shows that there is a research gap for further studies to explore support policies for the development of cooperatives.
