Vietnam's imports and exports over the period of 2015-2022 and solutions for the state management in the coming years

This study analyzes, compares and clarifies changes in Vietnam's trade balance in recent years. The study's results show that Vietnam's import and export turnover has increased sharply since the country joined the World Trade Organization (WTO). The foreign direct investment (FDI) sector in Vietnam has experienced higher growth than that of the domestic economic sector. The study also finds that Vietnam's trade deficit with China is increasing rapidly. Based on the study's findings, some solutions are proposed to help state management better manage import-export activities in the coming time.
