Factors affecting the green development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the current context

Abstract

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in the overall economy and social development, greatly contributing to the economy, national and global innovation, and being the backbone of the market economy. However, due to the increasing challenges of sustainability, SMEs are under pressure to implement sustainable practices in their operations. Studies on SME sustainable development show that in most cases, the transition from traditional development approaches to sustainable development approaches of SMEs is not a smooth experience. This study analyzed the impact of factors on the green and sustainable development of SMEs. The study also proposed some direction for the green development of SMEs.
