Promoting the the implication of the circular supply chain at Vietnamese small and medium-sized textile and garment enterprises

In recent years, the circular economy has received increasing attention worldwide. The circular economy is expected to resolve issues of current traditional production and consumption models, which are based on the take-make-waste approach. The shift from the traditional linear supply chain to the circular supply chain (CSC) can bring many environmental, economic, and social benefits. The textile and garment industry is a key industry of Vietnam, but it is also a highly polluting industry. This paper presented an overview of the circular supply chain and the current transition to the circular supply chain of small and medium-sized textile and garment enterprises. Based on the paper’s findings, some recommendations were made to promote the implication of the circular supply chain at small and medium-sized textile and garment enterprises in the coming time.
