Factors affecting the intention of consumers in Ho Chi Minh city to purchase organic textile products
Published: July 28, 2026
Abstract
This study measured the factors affecting the intention of consumers in Ho Chi Minh City to purchase organic textile products. The study found that the factors of environmental concern and knowledge about the environmental impact have positive impacts on the attitudes of consumers towards organic textile products. The factors of attitude, subjective norm, and perceived behavioral control have positive impacts on the purchase intention of consumers. However, the skeptical and price consciousness hypotheses were not supported. Based on these findings, the study had some management implications for policymakers, developers, and marketers about how to increase consumers’ purchase intentions towards organic textile products.
