Factors influencing employee organizational commitment at 4-star hotels in Hue City

Abstract

This study identified the factors influencing employees' commitment to hotel businesses. The study's data was collected from 125 employees working at several 4-star hotels in Hue City. The results of the regression analysis indicated that there are six factors impacting employees' commitment to hotel businesses. Among these, the nature of the job exerts the strongest influence, followed by relationships with colleagues and opportunities for training and development. These findings suggest that meaningful work and a supportive work environment are crucial factors in enhancing employee commitment. Based on these results, several implications were proposed to help hotels implement appropriate policies to strengthen employee commitment to the business.
