49. Identifying Risks of Investing in Corporate Bonds

Abstract
Bonds can be a great tool to generate income and are widely considered as a safe investment,
especially compared with stocks. However, investors should be aware of the potential risks of
bonds in general and corporate bonds in particular. This paper analyzes the framework of
theoretical researches about corporate bonds and discusses some risks associated with corporate
bonds that investors should pay attention to. This paper also presents some market analyses based
on collected data and makes a number of recommendations for investors.
