12. The Development of Circular Economy in Vietnam’s Agriculture Sector

Abstract
The United Nations Environment Program (UNEP) affirms that the circular economy will
replace the linear economy. The circular economy has become the main development direction
of countries towards sustainable growth and net zero emissions target. This paper is to analyze
the circular economy - the economic model of production and consumption, which involves
sharing, leasing, reusing, repairing, refurbishing and recycling existing materials and products
as long as possible in order to minimize adverse economic impacts on the environment.
