Published: July 28, 2026
Abstract
This paper examines the current state of fnancial literacy among youth based on the OECD (2015) research framework. The results indicate varying levels of understanding among young people in Hanoi regarding key fnancial concepts such as interest rates, inflation, risk diversifcation, budget management, debt management, and fnancial attitudes. While some youth demonstrate strong knowledge in specifc areas, a signifcant portion exhibit average or poor understanding. Proposed solutions include integrating practical fnancial education into school curricula, enhancing digital literacy through investment platforms, and promoting experiential learning through fnancial education clubs and competitions.
