Adaptive Ecosystem Management with Smart Tourism Management

Abstract

This study introduced the concept of business ecosystems, which is a relatively new concept in management research. Furthermore, there is a second emerging research approach in the social sciences named “complexity theory,” which views ecosystems and business ecosystems as complex adaptive systems. It is to connect the two by bringing new insights based on a smart tourism vision. This study proposed a theoretical discussion of the concepts mentioned above by applying them to the context of industrial heritage management.
