Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, Hanoi University of Mining and Geology Coffee is one of Vietnam's major agricultural export products. Over the past two decades, Vietnam has ranked among the world's largest coffee exporters. This study employed ordinary least squares regression analysis to examine the influence of eight factors on Vietnam's coffee exports during the period 2002-2021 through a gravity model framework. The findings indicated that Vietnam's coffee exports are positively associated with the country's coffee production output, the exchange rate between the Vietnamese dong and the currency of the importing countries, the GDP per capita of partner countries, and the geographical distance between Vietnam and trading partners. Conversely, the study found that fluctuations in oil and fertilizer prices, the population of importing countries, and their FTA signed with Vietnam do not statistically impact Vietnam's coffee exports.
