A Study on the Impact of Fed’s Interest Rate Policy on the Collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and Lessons Learned for Vietnam

This study analyzed the effects of the Federal Reserve (Fed)'s interest rate policy on the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and drew lessons for Vietnam. The study examined the factors that led to the collapse of Silicon Valley Bank and the role of the Fed’s interest rate in worsening the bank’s situation. The study also explored the similarities and differences between the banking systems in the United States and Vietnam and drew insights into how Vietnam can learn from the experience of Silicon Valley Bank. The study is expected to help policymakers in Vietnam make effective monetary policies and regulatory frameworks that can help prevent a banking crisisin the future.
