Experiences of Some Countries in Developing the Digital Economy and Lessons Learned for Vietnam

Abstract
This study analyzed and summarized the experiences of several countries, including the United States, China, and Singapore, in developing the digital economy. This study aimed to draw valuable lessons and provide appropriate recommendations for Vietnam to effectively apply the digital transformation process. These countries have provided successful models and specific strategies, from building modern digital infrastructure to developing high-quality human resources, applying business support policies, and implementing e-government. The study drew lessons and made appropriate recommendations so that Vietnam can effectively apply these experiences in its digital transformation process in accordance with the country’s actual conditions.
